This sculpture was inspired by a found piece of driftwood on the beach of Whitby Shores in Ontario (Canada) that resembles tree bark in texture and an inhabitant of the sea in shape.
This sculpture is a creation using a hand troweled ferro-cement process. It has also been stained with Ecco friendly stains to project a sense of damp weathered driftwood that has grown some moss on it. Two coats of sealer ensure many years of maintenance free viewing pleasure.
This sculpture is 125 cm (49.25 inches) tall.
This is a signed original “one-off†exemplar (no mold has been taken and it will not be reproduced as is)
