I’m pleased to announce that I will be on the Victoria County Studio Tour 2018.
It’s been a lot of fun since moving to the Kawarthas and getting involved with the local artist community. Back in late January I decided to apply for participation in the Studio Tour and was thrilled that my submission was accepted. Since I was involved with our show garden for Canada Blooms 2018 and my sculpture “Miss Kawartha” was to be a focal point in the garden and hence getting exposure to potentially 200,000 visitors, I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to leverage the exposure to also promote the Studio Tour. Close to 2000 Studio Tour postcards were eagerly snatched up by interested show goers and we hope this will translate into a significant increase in tour attendance.
